1. Service provider
MK Invest Oy / Nordveil Lapland
Business ID: 3362893-7
2. Services
Services refer to all products and services offered by the service provider, including airport transfers, other transfer services, and guided tours.
3. Bookings and confirmations
The person making the booking must be at least 18 years old. A parent or legal guardian may make a booking on behalf of a minor.
Bookings must always be made in writing, primarily through the online booking system or via email.
Once the service provider has confirmed the booking, it becomes binding for both parties. No advance payment is required at the time of booking, but cancellation fees may apply (see Section 6).
4. Pricing
Prices include value-added tax (VAT) and the items specified in the service description. Any additional services will be priced and booked separately during the booking process.
5. Changes to services
The service provider reserves the right to alter the transfer route, tour destination, schedule, or duration if circumstances require. Such circumstances include potential hazards, severe weather and road conditions, official government recommendations, or other safety risks (such as the customer’s health status). No refunds or compensation can be claimed for changes made due to the aforementioned safety or natural conditions.
The service provider is not liable or responsible for any indirect or consequential costs incurred by the customer, such as missed connecting travel (e.g., flights) or additional accommodation expenses resulting from the changes.
6. Cancellation policy
Cancellations must be submitted in writing as early as possible via email to sales@nordveillapland.com.
– Cancellation up to 7 days before the scheduled service: No cancellation fee applies.
– Cancellation 2 to 6 days before the scheduled service: A fee of 50% of the service price will be charged.
– Cancellation less than 48 hours before the scheduled service or no-show: A fee of 100% of the service price will be charged.
If the cancellation is due to sudden illness or injury, the customer may seek compensation through their own travel insurance.
The service provider may be forced to cancel a service due to reasons such as the sudden illness of a driver/guide or equipment failure. In such cases, the service provider will primarily attempt to provide alternative transport, a replacement guide, or an alternative date. If this is not possible, any payments already made will be refunded in full.
No compensation will be provided for cancellations caused by Force Majeure events (extraordinary circumstances beyond the service provider’s control, such as war, natural disasters, exceptional government lockdowns, or strikes).
7. Customer responsibility and conduct
The customer is responsible for providing correct schedule details (such as flight numbers and arrival times), as well as the accurate number of guests and luggage during the booking process. The customer agrees to follow all safety instructions given by the driver or guide. The service provider reserves the right to refuse service to any customer who compromises their own safety or the safety of others (for example, due to severe intoxication).
8. Insurance
The service provider maintains statutory commercial vehicle insurance and public liability insurance. Customers are highly recommended to have a valid personal travel insurance policy to cover potential trip cancellations, illnesses, or damage to luggage.
9. Payments and payment methods
The service can be paid by debit/credit card before the transfer or tour begins, or alternatively by invoice in advance.
